I had to light a candle

And clink a coin

It was to remember

And to do something

Doing nothing didn't seem right

Like nothing meant something

But doing something wasn't right either

As if doing something in church

Makes God bigger or smaller

So easy to be paralyzed by theology

And pretty soon walk on out

Too much trouble, this church thing
