2.3 BILLION dollar fine!!

It has always seemed to me from semi-cursory review of the press over the years, following the medical literature, and talking with many drug reps, that Pfizer has always been the most mischievous of the companies. The most likely to keep a questionable med on the market. The most likely to be doing shady research. The most likely to push for overuse of their medication. I hypothesize that the corporate culture of Pfizer has suffered from a deficit of knowledge of and/or respect for the ethical principles of medical care. If this is true, then these fines and more rules are not enough.
